Company claiming for refund of excess amount what can i do

I have received a Letter from my former employer stating that i have received an excess amount of 73000 Rs during refund of PF . the company is asking me to refund the same.1.Is it legal to ask for refund? 2. I believe the company trying to cheat me as the notice from PF authority says the Form F19 was revised. ( i dont remember revising the same)
You can make the refund if it is decent amount you can prolong the refund but i don't think there is clear law on this point. you can take the benefit of the said loophole of law . you can also counter claim to the company saying that the amount paid was not adequate as per your calculations.
