Company asking to submit caste certificate before interview

I am a post graduate and a latin catholic , recently i married a hindu . Now i got an interview letter for the post i applied before my marriage. Now i need a cast certificate issued by the govt office.but they are asking me to get a letter from church father.but he is not ready to give it. Now what cast i belong.or what religion i belong .i did not convert to any other religion so far. My interview date is on 02/04/2016. So please help me to get justice and to face interview in time. I registered my marriage as a common marriage act. And i do have a obc certificate issued on 17/03/2015. So
Anyhow, it is only the Competent Revenue Authority who can issue a legally valid Caste/Community Certificate.

by marriage one does not get converted into a cast of hindu religion.
u continue to be a catholic for the purpose of reservation . village officer before issuing certificate can make such enquirieis he deems fit before issuing certificate.
