Clarification regarding interest on PF & claim settlement

28-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Sirs, I was working in Bangalore in Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, a State Government Undertaking. I was transferred to a far off place on 12-7-2005, I could not report at the transferred place due to domestic reasons. So I was removed from service on 22-7-2007. I was to retire from service on 06-08-2012. I Challenged this in Karnataka High Court. High Court was kind enough to set aside the removal order and ordered for continuity of service, without back wages on 8-3-2016. My last contribution to PF was in the month of June 2005. My question now is that, am I entitled to interest on on my PF Balance as on 30-6-2005. If I am entitled, till what date I am entitled for the interest and at what rate? . My employer is an exempted establishment and it manages PF independently. If my employer denies me the benefits, what is remedy available to me. Kindly enlighten me please.

Dear sir,

Different government have different kinds of rules and regulations regarding Provident Funds. TO have a better and clear knowledge we would require your terminal as well as your court orders. which will give us a better outlook. Secondly, in the mean time you can file a RTI asking the same questions from your department to have clarification.
