Can late clearing of departmental test affect the seniority

I passed my departmental tests late than my juniors and lost my seniority. Can I fight my seniority.
No Sir, you cannot claim seniority in the given case, as you have passed the said departmental tests later than your juniors. if there is delay due to technicalities or unfair means then yes you can fight for seniority but in case everything is on merit then you cant
