Can I work for the same client with different company

21-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am currently employ of company A and working for client X. Now contract between my employer and client X is over and same contract is awarded to company B. I got offer from company B to join there company and work for same client X. I have an agreement with company A such that i will not join any of there client directly for 1 year after my resignation. Company A is now saying that i should not join company B, if joined they will blacklist my name in India so that i should not able to join any of IT company in future. Please suggest, whether i can join the company B and work for the X?

As per your contract you cannot join and work for them where there is conflict of interest. To safeguard yourself and to have a potential and better future you should not join the company it can jeopardise your future.
