can i claim accidental damages from Company if m working for them

i work for a pvt, company and used my car for the company purpose as well. i met with an accident while going for company matter. can i claim money from them?
For claiming damages in case of accidents there is prescribed law under MACT ACT and according to which you an file claim in the court against the offending in which the insurance but in company of the offending vehicle will give you the damages but in case of claim against the company the same would be regulated by policy of your company in this regard

Damages can be claimed by the employee from the the employer if the damage in the accident is caused during the course of the employment and while performing and discharging the official duties during the course of the work entrusted to the employee.
