Can I appear for govt exam if case is pending in the court

I got selected in a state govt job (Up Roadways Conductor) and the joining process is started.But a court case is pending in which IPC sections 323, 504,506 are imposed on me.I want to know whether I can get a job with this case or not. Though I have mentioned about all the particulars in the attestation forms sent to me.what would u advice?Is there any rule in the manuals that a person with a pending court case cannot be employed in a govt dept.

MY OPINION THAT in case any Govt. job ,there is services rules & laws are clearly stated that you have not get any Govt. service, if any case may be it is criminal or civil or any other laws are imposed and affected then you have barred at any service of Govt., but there are so many ways that you escape form that problem, contact with me.
