Can complaint be filed by company on resigning without notice period?

14-Nov-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hello Sir,I have worked in an IT firm at Infopark from Aug 9, 2012, to June 7, 2013. While joining, I have signed a bond of 2 years. But I wasn't satisfied with my job and when the continuous working of late nights started affecting my health, I quit the job without having proper procedures to have further studies. I had to pay an amount of 50,000 in case of breaking the bond. But I didn't. A few days after I quit my job, they had contacted me several times. All those times, I gave the reason as the health issue and later I had sent them a resignation letter mentioning the reason as the health issue. Will they be able to do anything counter actions now? As I am entering into a government job now, also preparing for civil services examinations, if I am fortunate to clear civil services examination, then will they take any action on me and also will that all affect my joining there in civil services. Please reply. this really makes me so feared.

Nothing to worry in this regard they won't be moving against you legally. Hope they dont have any valuble documents of yours in their custody. They might not be calling you again. All the best for future job

A bond cannot enforced unilaterally, but through the due process of law, in terms of the conditions in the offer for appointment. It could be an arbitration or civil proceedings and certainly, not a criminal proceeding. Only a criminal proceeding could affect your chances for a public appointment.
