Can bank deny appointment on basis of previous performance

20-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have selected for Specialist Officer-Marketing in Bank of Baroda. Bank had mailed me appointment letter and I send acceptance mail in reply to that. But bank cancelled my appointment by giving the reason that my performance in previous organisation was poor. In its advertisement bank asked for MBA plus three years experience in financial sector. I worked for six years in LIC. Could bank deny my appointment on the basis of performance in previous organisation?

1) Yes, because before appointing any employee, company or organization keeps all rights reserve with them.

2) You have to check the application form and read it thoroughly, check all terms and conditions.

At the most you can send a personal letter to the grievance department to Bank of Baroda asking the reason for refusing/cancelling the appointment. The reason for cancellation of your appointment was actually very vague. You can also ask them to reconsider their cancellation.

You can also in the alternative re-send your resume if they have overlooked your work experience.
