18-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I had an argument with my colleague as he was talking very disrespectfully and badly to a women our secretary at office and in order to defend her I pushed him as such now he is going for legal action saying I hit him and so on... All I did was to defend a women... So wat should I do
The law recognizes the actions taken in self defence or in defence of the person of any other individual, as valid defence for offences related to Human Body / injury. Therefore, you may get complete immunity from the consequences of such actions. Please make it sure that you have sufficient witnesses to the incident who can vouch for your requirement of hitting the bad guy.
