Can a servent file a case in labour court on account of dues not paid

greetings, i wanted to know that my servant has been working for 15 years...and suddenly he left his job all his salaries are paid by cheques only mistake which happened by us was , we did not asked him to give us a written consent with no dues. can he file a court case against me, if yes what kind of things will happen regards

You have proof with yourself that you have paid him his entire salary till the time he was employed with you then you should not be worried about the fact that you couldn't take the no due certificate from him. The fact that you were paying him by written modes (cheque) is more than enough to prove that you owe nothing to him.

Yes he can file a case against you. He has a right to get his hard earned money. Please understand that in such cases everything depends on the agreement so it's better to have detailed discussion.

Dear Client,
One cannot predict the future. What your former servant does or does not do, is in his domain. If he decides to drag you to Court and seek the payment due to him, in that case he will have to produce documentary evidence to support his claim. Based on the nature of his claim, you will have to fight it out. Remember, justice always sides with the truth, provided the party acts promptly at all stages.
