Can a company transfer the employee to other company at junior level

I have been working in a private Ltd company since April 2008.I have received three promotion during this period hoti march 2015.All of sudden during 1st week of June 2016 my boss told me to sit idle without any valid reasons.I wrote several letters to management for work allocation indore of work allocation they transferred me to a construction company which is it's sister concern at junior label they put pressure upon me .
Demotion can be made if following conditions are satisfied
1. If employee is engaged in any in disciplinary conduct. or
2. Any proper notice has been served upon him to this effect or a show cause notice has been given to improper conduct which he is found guilty of.
