Can a company sue me for leaving it in 10 days During Training period

23-Dec-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

Hi, I joined a company 10 days ago,I was asked to sign my offer letter and another copy was taken back by the employer. I got a better offer from another company now. But I'm afraid that the company can sue me for this reason and a point mentioned in that offer letter "On your absorption into our management cadre you'll serve the company for minimum 2 years, and the company can terminate you without any lieu of notice during your training period". The HR threatened me indirectly that a "Company can Lift u up or can produce a negative impact". I'm worried about losing my better offer. Help me.

Sir,
You have the fundamental rights to engage yourself in any kind of legally acknowleged job as per your own will and wish.Since you have the better opportunity through some other entity you can join it. No company can hold you for their employment as a matter of right unless you express your wish to continue in its employment. No company can prevent you or deter you from joining another entity against your wish. Hence, the earlier company cannot sue you.
