Can a company fire me without giving me any Notice period?

I got an notice to leave with org without any intimation. I have joined the company one and half month bach and now because of poor performance they want me to throw out of the company without serving any notice period. Please help me out on this case.
Whether the organization is required to serve you a notice period or not will depend on the terms of your employment and the contract you have signed with the organization. If you are an employee (and not on probation) then your employer will have to allow you to either serve the notice period or take a pink slip (one month's pay).
