Basic Pay in salary changed by company HR saying mistake done initialy

Since seven years I’m working with company located at nashik;
But last year suddenly HR Dept. Reduced my Basic pay, saying that the basic pay calculated earlier is incorrect and now we have corrected.
Please guide.
This is my response to you:
1. You must ask for the bifurcation of the salary being paid to you;
2. Speak up with the HR and ask for written explanation;
3. Consult a local lawyer and take steps if necesaary.
