IPC 460 in Simple Words
If during the act of lurking house-trespass by night or house-breaking by night, any person involved in the offense tries to cause death or serious harm to anyone, all individuals involved in the crime will be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment for up to ten years, and may also be fined.
