Ownership transfer is not happening ,car is on total loss since 1year

My car got damaged and come under total loss. But ownership is not getting transferred from my name since 1 year though insurance company told it will take 1 month.Kindly advice what to do?
make a written representation to the Grievance Redressal Officer of the insurance company. If your grievances are not repressed then approach the office of insurance ombudsmen. Alternatively you can engage a lawyer to write a legal notice.
