Can a man claim LIC of his brother after his death

Dear sir ...my brother commit sucide on 12/3/2018.... He purchased a LIC dated 4/9/2015... The instalment was quarterly ... the last instalment he paid on 15/3/2017...can I claim lic...they refuse My claim....
Normally suicide is exempt from insurance coverage so firstly please share the complete set of insurance policy so that we can give you suitable legal advice. Because without going through the terms of policy and reputation letter we unable to give you a suitable legal advise at this stage.
