Immigration issues after settling out of court

I and my family were travelling to my native olace where a rickshaw driver banged our car and we broke into a fight and he was minorly injured with a fracture....Now the court is settled out of court and i am planning for immigration to usa on student visa.Will it affect my chance of visa approval..
Well, it depends upon what sections have been imposed upon you & how the matter got settled out of the court. Then I can tell you, whether you can go to USA or not, i.e, without taking the permission of court.
