Hi this Raj from Mumbai. I want to ask for a help on behalf of my very close friend (friend is a girl). Their parents are forcing her to marry a unknown person just because their kundli match. They didn't even ask girl if she's ready for marriage. After so much pressure she told her parents that she's loves someone else who is outside from their cast. As usual their parents rejected without even seeing or meeting him. Now they are putting so much pressure on girl they she has to marry that guy. Even in future if that guy deny for marriage then she will be responsible as per her parents.
Hello,
Assuming the girl is major, I would suggest her to go ahead and report the incident to cops and women welfare cell to protect her from such act. They will call them for counselling and ensure she is not forcefully married. Tender a written complaint for their record so in future the marriage is not valid. Feel free to connect for any further assistance.

I have exported goods to a buyer in Borivali Mumbai India in May as trial and then in August as final order. The buyer agreed for 7 days payment terms . Once goods were delivered they went back saying they had issues with getting payment from their client and asked for more time. We agreed with a 3% per month interest surcharge. The importer paid 1/3 of the payment in December and still claimed to have problems. Now they have stopped accepting calls and responding to WA messages etc. I would like to know what my options are including if I can let the required agencies in India know and stop this person from perpetrating any further frauds.
Hello,
Serve them a demand legal notice through an Advocate asking them to pay the due amount. Give time limit of 14 days to pay the amount failing which you shall file a suit in district or civil court of relevant jurisdiction. Give more details and the lawyer can draft a stern notice get him to pay. Feel free to connect with us for further details. Where are you based?

Father transferred his self acquired property by will before his death in mothers name. Can step sister still claim her share in property? Please advise? If she challenges the will what are her chances to win?
Hello,
Please advise if the will was registered after it was made. It is not mandate to have it registered but is recommended to avoid disputes like this. The burden of proof comes on you to prove that this will is the one made by your father. Usually your step sister is not entitled to claim her share as per law if legitimate will was drafted beforehand

Hi, i am a landlord of a particular plot in mumbai, i have 150 tenants under me, since a very long time my father did not impose the landlord share of 30 percent of the rent pm for sub let properties. But now i wish to impose it as 80% of my tenants have sub let their properties. How should i move forward in this matter.
Hello,
We would need to see the tenancy agreement to deliver effective advice on this one, usually in tenancy and pagdi system one cannot sublet as it forms ground for eviction. If the agreement as the clause for that and also the 30% share clause you may issue general notice to them to comply with this. If not you need to have a meeting and discuss the same and follow it if you have coram. Feel free to connect for advice.
