Hi,\nMy husband's brother cheated us with around 50 lakhs and my jewellery which I got at my marriage, he used to extort big chunks of money by emotionally blackmailing my husband since beginning, after our marriage he asked my husband to force me to give all my jwellrry and money to him in the pretext of putting it in his locker.\nAfter 5 months he stopped talking to us, not responding to calls or meet at his home.\nIt's been 5 yrs now and we're actively pursuing it so he is threatening us by various means and now my father in law who is taking his side tells us that brother in law has taken loan against the locker as he is in financial crunch so please leave it.\nFather in law is playing emotional card, brother in law is threatening us.. \nWhat should I do now, we are working in Bangalore and they know that we wont be able to come to hometown again and again to pursue this, please help.\n. one of my friend got married 1 month ago. After marriage in just 10 days her husband started torturing her like beating, threat to kill, locking in room. one day when she got chance she fled. Now after some time we found that her husband has relationship with other girls also. My friend has recording of some of incidents. she left her entire jewellery also at her husband place. Her husband family members are also taking his side. What is best legal option to my friend in current scenario.

I have booked my flat under Subvention scheme (No EMI till possession). As per builder buyer agreement, it is mentioned that builder will pay EMI to the bank till possession, but has failed to provide possession of the Flat and also stopped payment EMI. A group of buyers has filed case against builder in Supreme Court and Supreme Court has passed order in Oct-20 that bank can not ask EMI from the buyers as possession of the flat not given and also no legal proceeding can filed against the buyer. But bank has filed case in DTR aginst me and I got notice from DRT. I need advise how to file reply.

Hi, Need your advice here.My sister got married in the month of Mar and she unfortunately died just within one month due to Covid. Her in laws are greedy and they want to acquire all the funds that she had in the form of NPS, PPF, FDs etc. They didn't spend money on the treatment and the treatment was payed by us. Is there a way we can stop them by getting the succession certificate.

5 family member is seriously injured which is attacked by our neighbours by axe and rod but police registered FIR in normal Case, medical not done properly and crimnal moving free with help of police . We try to give complaint SP and other officer but not taken any action by police and chargeshit not submitted in court.

There is a gang of criminals who attacked me with the intention of killing me but somehow I got rescued. I filed a case against them and police also filed FIR. The gang members have applied for an anticipatory bail in the district court and an arrest stay in Allahbad high court simultaneously. They have threatened me that as soon as they get a bail or stay, they will kill me. Is there any way to stop their bail and the arrest stay? I've heard that a person cannot apply for bail in district court and arrest stay in high court simultaneously. Can their stay be rejected because they have already applied for a bail in district court? Please help me..

We have been married for 3 years. Just after marriage I quit my job to start my own business. This was a mutual decision as she was having a well paying job. So she started taking care of expenses like house rent and groceries. But all other expenses are done through my credit card for which she used to transfer money to my account. My other expenses included home loan emi and car emi. Since our marriage is not working out and with pandemic and stress in personal life .. I am not able to scale my business. Now we reached a stage to end the marriage as a mutual thing. But she is asking for the money that she has been transferring to my account. As I am not working, and do not have any earning , what is my best option here?

We are living in England and we don't have mutual understanding. Don't know why but my wife has different point of views about me. So my question is how can we start divorce from England? can we file divorce in India without coming? If yes then how can we start and If no, please suggest a solution.
