My father has been abusive for almost forever, as a child I was beaten up to the extent of turning blue everywhere on my body, Striped down naked, and pushed outside the house as punishment, abused verbally and physically because I didn't bring enough marks in school.\nMy mom has faced a similar situation when asked if he was being unfaithful to her,\nover the years we both had enough and have started standing on our ground, \nI have communicated my disappointment in him as a father and stopped interacting with him.\nMy mother still tries to interact with him which leads to him get angry over small things and starting to abuse her and even threatening to kill her verbally \nNow he has started threats about selling the house if we eat sit on the same sofa as he is sitting \nThe house has been passed down by will from my father's mother (my grandmother) \nso I wanted to know if I needed to worry about this or if he has any stand when it comes to legal .
