What to do when brother in law threatens to beat his wife?

Hi, I have a boyfriend. We want to marry with each other. we are intercaste. From last 2 year we were convincing his family for our marraige. Now, his family are ready but his brother in law, said when we marry he leave his wife(boyfriend's sister) or may be beat him. So, I want to know there is any solution of this problem. Or may be, can we get safety for his sister.where brother in law not harm her.
Firstly ypu both are adults as i consider in that no one can put any thing binding upon you ... And for the safety of you sister you may take any step while in legal manner in that csde you should meet any good advocate . By which uay clear the doubt and things will more clear to you tooo all the best
