What to do in case of mental and physical abuse by husband & in laws?

Want to know my rights as a Hindu wife and daughter in-law law. As well as what are the section can be imposed on my husband n in-laws for dowry...mental n physical torcher...abusive language...kept deprived of basic needs and they even tried to murder me. As well as my 3yr old son's rights. We both have been thrown out by my husband as well as from my in-laws house also.
File a complaint in the women cell later which would be changed to F.I.R against the husband and the in laws for cruelty, grevious hurt and criminal intimidation under the Indian Penal Code and also file a case under the Domestic Violence Act.
