What to do if uncle is claiming a share in property by forging will

02-Aug-2023 (In Family Law)
Religion: Hindu My father passed away 15 years back in 2003, leaving a property in the pagdi system in a chawl which costs today at 80 Lacs in Mumbai prime location. The property belongs to my grandmother who passed in 1995. There was no legal heir agreement or any legal WILL made. My uncle has forged the WILL and we have challenged the same on legal grounds. However, my question remains that my cousin sisters (uncle’s daughters) get one or two people involved to persuade us to make the property on their name which we definitely did not agree to. These 2 men are nowhere related to this property or to us by any blood relation. What can I do about them to stop getting them involved in this matter as they accompany my uncle and sisters to the court all the time. can any legal action be taken against these people and if yes then what can be done? Please help me. I am in urgent need of a right reply/direction.

In this case, first and foremost you should file a complaint before the respective police station u/s 467 and 471 of IPC. Thereafter, depending on that your civil proceedings will continue. Do not waste time informing the civil court about the forgery.
