what are my rights as the first child after my father's death

i'm the only child from my father's first marriage then they got divorced and i lived with my father but then my father got remarried and my stepmother didn't let me stay with them so i stayed with my grandparents my entire life and i also have a step brother. now my father died and i want to know what are my rights to the properties and in general as the first child.
You have equal rights in your fathers property as far as your step brother has. You are entitled to your fathers property being a class 1 Heir as per Hindu Succession Act. Further you can claim it through partition as well. Fir further guidance contact me
