Wants to live separate from my in laws and stay only with my husband

My mother in law always gives more importance to her daughter and not to me before her marriage and also after her marriage. She had once told me that she hates me alot. She always tries to prove that I am wrong in all situations and she and her daughter is right. My husband knows everything but he always tells me that he will talk to her and this will not going to repeat again. But there is no change in her behavior. Now I want to separate with my mother in law and live with my husband. But my husband is not ready so what to do?
