Want to remove biological father name in birth certificate

Hi , now I am divorcee with one male child and I have his legal custody
I want to remove his biological father name in his birth certificate . Can I do the same if yes then please tell me procedure ?
Yes you can change the name of your son. There is a procedure which you have to follow for giving legal effect to the change of name. (1) Affidavit declaring the change of name.
