Steps for Marriage registration of inter religion community

Hi.. I am hindu and my wife is christian.. we are married but nobody has changed or converted religion.. Both families has accepted our marriage.. nobody is against us.. I want to know the steps for registering our marriage.. under which act Will it be registered.. where to apply for registration.. Pls guide us..

Hi,
U can registered under Special Marriage Act, 1954
u can apply nearest registrar office submit the completed application form with required documents and fees.

Two documents required for Special Marriage Act registration:
1) Age Proof (Any one of following document)
Birth Certificate
School, College mark sheet( 10 or +2)
Transfer Certificate
Passport
2) Address Proof. (Any one of following document)
Passport
Family card
Voter Id
Bank Passbook
Driving Licence
Aadhar Card
Passport-size Photo-each-5 Nos.
TWO witnesses with ID Proof . My Best Wishes.....
