Regarding marriage certificate

Sir we did marraige in ghaziabad uttar pardesh at the time of marraige our agent did not change the surname of my wife in marriage certificate . Is there have any way to change the surname now on marriage certificate.

yes you may change surname of your wife for that purpose you should file a writ petition before High Court under article 226 of the Constitution of India where Court may direct the authorities for changing surname for more clarity my contact us advocate Anurag Bhatt Allahabad High Court th irtie

The marriage certificate can be applied on three places. First where the bride is having her residence & secondly where the bridegroom is residing & it can also be registered the place where the marriage took place. In your case you can successfully register your marriage near your residence in Delhi.

you can get the marriage registered at one of the listed places:

a. place of marriage.
b. Resident place of any of the spouse

should be of delhi.

if none of the place exist at delhi, you can not get it registered at delhi.
