Regarding disturbance in home due to abuses from my father for a long

My father always abuses my mother and other family members. I had raised voice for the same many times but there is no change in his attitude. His yelling, calling names, insulting, etc are still prevalent after nearly 30 years. This week I came to Odisha to stay in house for a week. Today morning there was a incident he shouting and accusing her very wrongly. I couldn't tolerate my mother's sad face and I raised voice. Slowly he started hand to hand with me pushing and saying foul languages. I resisted for some time but my 30 years of frustration came out and I indulged in a fight with him. In that pushing somewhere his nose got a hit and started bleeding. As soon as I saw that all my anger got controlled and I immediately left him and stepped back from my fight. Later I explained him I didn't do it and as soon as I saw blood I stepped back. But now he is threatening me to file a police complaint against me with "Attempt to murder". I know he is taking advantage of the situation.
