I want to know if my situation is somthing i can make a complaint

My father screams at me and my mother all the time uses abusive language and threatens to beat us up basically tortures us mentally all the time. Picks fault in our every deeds. Its getting so hard can i lodge complaint against him for domestic violence?
Yes you can lodge the same and send it to the concerned police station by way of speed post, it may happen police oftenly refuses or dictates their terms and try to manipulate so it is better to lodge it that way and moreso you can file a case for domeatic violence alongwith your mother
