How to protect my family from my father legally

Dear Sir/Madam - I live with my wife and daughter (and my wife's mother) in 1 BHK flat in Mumbai. Currently there was a rift (or exchange of words) between my mother and father due to which there were some words spoken against my wife's mother. Because of this the relationship between me and father, father and mother, father and my wife and her mother has become worse. So in general, the root cause of all this is my father. Due to his rude behavior a lot of relationships have been already broken. My father is already senior citizen (over 70 years). In this respect I want advice on the below questions: 1. How should I protect my wife and our family legally from him if all talks fail? I am getting worried as my father can talk abusive language to them or can take any act 2. Currently I live in 1 BHK flat with my wife, my daughter and her mother. The flat is in my name (50%) and my mothers name (50%) . Can my father have a claim on this flat and can he live in my flat whenever he wants?
See if the property is in your name and your mother's name then none except you too have a right over the property and the same can be managed by you the way you want and legally your cannot press to maintain him but you have an obligation to give him at least abasic maintenance so you can give him an alternate accommodation where he can live and maintain himself.
