How to disown a major child due to mental and physical torture

I am from a Muslim family. I have a son aged 25 yr s who is a vagabond and does not eàrn anything. He takes money by torturing his mother. If not given he hurts her physically. I want to disown him from my family. I have other children to look after. What should I do?
Hi, based on your query it is understood that your son tortures his mother/your wife physically for which you may file a police complaint or domestic violation case in the court of jurisdiction. Let the court take cognizance of the issue and decide the matter on bearing expenses of your son who is a major. However, you cannot disown your child even if he is major.
