Family forcing a girl to marry against her wish how to proceed legally

If a girl does not want to marry but her family is forcing her to do so.... can their be something to help her
Yes, nobody can force her to marry without her consent. if she likes another person and want to marry with him also? then she can marry him. but don't forget to register thair marriage before registrar. after that she can come to high court to take protection from them who r threating her.
