Emotional and verbal abuse by parents.

I am 23. My mother has emotionally and verbally abused me. My father has verbally abused me. As a major, what are my rights if I want to separate from them both?
The most important thing is that why they are behaving in such way. So far as regard to legal position if you are major and earn good then you can start your life by your own but it is the proper time that we should understand our parents as parents never sees wrong of there kids.
