Do parents have the right to choose a life partner for their children

07-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
Do Judges are not aware of there Jurisdiction 2 if Stay is imposed by Honourable Justice where the court do not have jurisdiction who should be held responsible for it? 3 how stay is not vacated since Jurisdiction is doubtful. who is responsible for it ? 4 In Law where parents have no right to impose a life partner to their Son/Daughter. Why matters are kept pending for 6-12 years where one of the partners is not willing to continue married life. Simply they could be allowed to live separately and maintenance and other financial claims can be decided in due course ?

At times when the matter is pending before a superior court, the matter is stayed in the lower Court before a finding is recorded by the superior court.
In addition to that the matters are kept pending in the lower court for a long period at times when one of the parties or both the parties are unable to reach a settlement and part ways. If both the parties agree mutually, there would not be such long pendency of matrimonial cases.
