Dad abusing Mom verbally over religious belief

Dad constantly verbally, sometimes physically abusing Mom over her inclination towards god, doing puja etc.He doesn't respect her,and uses bad words.what can I do?
You can ask your mother to file domestic violence case aagainst your father and seek for protection orders and maintenance from him. Such step will obviously make him feel his guilt and he may not repeat the same
