Aunt deserted by her husband can she claim father's pension

My aunt s desserted by her hus 40 yrs before & took care by her father ,her only son demiced meeting an accident,now her father also passed away who s a railway employee .can she claim for her father pension ,she has got exparte certificate ,PL help sir
This case has no ground to claim the father's pension from the Railway department.The nominee can get pention from the government till her majority if she is the child of the deceased.In this case the claimant is married and deserted hence no chances.
