In laws and husband are torturing me for dowry

My in-laws are expecting dowry from me. Sometimes they asked me directly and I didn't give at all. They are influencing my husband and changed him completely. It's been 5 years that I got married. I have a 2 year old kid. My in laws are not letting me stay with my husband. They are torturing me mentally and my husband as well. He is not taking care of I and my child. What will happen if I file a dowry case against my husband and my in laws??
