Respected sir, I need to know about stridhan since i hv filed 498 against my husband and his family they said in the police station that they will give my silver items but till now didn't give me back n said to police they will give me in the court itself. Now they are telling that they didn't have any belongings of mine wd dm so now how will I get my things back? Please let me know about any documents should I present regarding the things or consult the police once?

You may lodge another complaint or ask the police to record your further statement and to add Section 406 IPC in the FIR thus police can search and recover your items in your presence but this procedure is to be followed by the Court.
