For getting an income certificate you have to tender an application with the Revenue Department/Tehsildr within your residential jurisdiction.
You can mention the sources of income and annual income in the application.
You can enclose photo copies of your father's death certificate, legal heir ship certificate, educational certificates and any other documentary proof that may be called for by the authority.
The department may verify the correctness of your state or status through Village administrative officer or the revenue inspector and upon confirmation, based on the report you will be issued with an income certificate.
This income certificate shall be valid for that financial year only.
