Clarification about adoption document where to do

03-Jun-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Hi, I'm Hindu. I was born in 1972.My father and mother adopted in year the 1981 (When I was 9 years old). Due to some reasons there was delay in document registration. It was later registered in year the 1991 (When I was 19 years old). In the reg. document the above situation is mentioned in detail. My dad married 2 times. His 1st wife left after 2 years without divorce. Then his 2nd wife and he adopted me. Then in 1997 his 2nd wife dead. Then after in the year 2002 his 1st wife came to stay with him again and she removed us from the house. Last year my dad dead and now his 1st wife is saying that all property is mine, I'll won't give you. So, my questions are, As the date on the registration document is 1991 and at that time my age was 19 (as adoption is possible below age 15) is this document legal? If I want to appeal in court against my dad's 1st wife for property, Will this document create any problem further (as it is registered in the year 1991 and not in the year 1981)?

Hi, you can appeal in the city civil court as a lawful legal heir of your father. It is also imp to know where he adopted you from when you were 9 years old. That will prove your adoption by your parents. Your adoptive mother was not a legal wife of your father. Therefore her illegal stay with your father can prove a little harmful if property was jointly owned by her too.
