Wife abusing and mentally harassing

My wife is daily fighting with me over small things. She is always threatening me to go to police and even she has filed some first information noting at police station and has accused me of harassing her but the truth is that she is very hot tempered even for small things she is throwing things at me and many times thrown objects on walls and has destroyed many household things.We have bought a house together on loan on which she was expected to share burden equally as per our understanding but she finds some reason to fight wid me and then she doesn't share loan Emi share.she has also complained in police that I am abusing her for EMI .We have a child for whom I don't want to go for divorce but her behaviour is getting worse and threatening and she feel that I am scared of police.She has even fought wid my parents with no issue to force them to leave me along her though my father is an cancer patient. I just want to know how to safeguard myself and my finances .
