1) In divorce case what is the proof that the girls family has given stridhan. 2) What to do if the girl has spent the gold on her own will and later demands the husband to return the gold.

What is the evidence of stridhan?
Stridhan covers all gifts, movable and immovable, received by a woman prior to marriage, when she married, during childbirth, or during widowhood. The court will not necessarily consider a womans list of assets if it is signed by two witnesses.
What is the valid source of stridhan?
Stridhan is the owner of property acquired through self-exertion or mechanical arts.
Stridhan includes any property that was left to her in a will, either by her father or husband or by another family member. It is not a legal document nor does it have any form of documentation. There was no registration that would label her assets as Stridhan.
