What if my husband wants to divorce but I don't?

My was love marriage before 2 years and intercaste as well(he is hindu-maratha and I am hindu-dhandgar) ,he wants divorce from me because his family don't want this relation and he literally forced me to get into this marriage and now he spliting up due to his parents we were living together since 10 months in these 10 months he physically abused me so badly and he never ever took me to his home town still in that case also i was ready to live with him but they called up my family and told that they wanted the divorce and their son is ready for that divorce so in that case what should i do plz suggest me.

If you were having advance knowledge of the situation of your in-laws not ready for this Marriage and then too you married to him then its totally you on the fault in this case you better take divorce which will make your future life better then too get involved in such unwarranted relation which will ruin your daily social and personal life.

No one can force you to give divorce. You can exercise your rights and file before the court for reliefs like maintenance, residence, compensation etc from your husband and in-laws. Consult a lawyer, he/she will help you in filing relevant applications for you in court.

You cannot divorce your husband unilaterally unless you also consent to this divorce. If hes willing, let him file a divorce case against you. You will have ample opportunity to contest his claim once he files the case.
