Query regarding application to be made and reply to be given in interi

I am muslim woman undergoing divorce battle in family court. My husband is filing urgent application for vacation access. Is it compulsary to reply and have hearing same day or I can ask for a next date to reply
This is my response to you:
1. You can seek another day to reply;
2. But make sure you are not stalling the proceedings necessarily;
3. Give good reasons for taking a next date;
4. Say you want to bring new arguments;
5. Or say you are facing personal difficulty to reply;
6. Say that the husband is going to abscond;
7. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
