Property separation at divorce

04-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I got married in 2010 under Special Marriage. I helped paid about 20% of a property and my husband has paid about 80% for a flat. He (alone) is still paying EMIs. I pay the maintenance and other house bills. The apartment was registered in our joint names. Due to his long hours at work and travelling, I had physical relations with a colleague. When my husband saw our messages, I stopped communicating with the colleague. However, he now wants to divorce me. He only wants to pay me the amount I paid for the property and nothing more. How can I convince him to pay me a larger sum? I admit I made a mistake, Am I only entitled to my share of the property? My father-in-law as several properties and is quite well off so my husband does not need the apartment where I am living.

You need to handle it carefully and trap in very carefully plus you have to see that he cannot prove your mistake in front of court then only you can get things your way, you need to handle this technically and with a positive mind to trap in paying you a huge lumsum amount
