Procedure to file divorce due to abuse

I am asking this on behalf of my brother. He a married a widow 2015 who had 15 year old daughter. Before marriage she already had an apartment worth 28lKh in the vizag city and a plot worth 5laks in another area in the city. She is working as a medical transcriptionist for last 18 years or so. My brother and she were friends as she was a senior almost 5years elder to him. She was ousted out from her first husband's house and she somehow she hardly ever stayed with her previous husband.
