Post divorce concern on assets and property

17-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Dear Sir, I got divorced recently (permanent alimony is paid) I have a daughter of age 8yrs, staying with her mother. In future, does my wife or daughter can claim from my or parents movable or immovable property? Because of this concern I am not able make up my future decisions. Thanks.

your wife cannot claim but your daughter cannot be prevented from claiming property even you expressly said in the settlement , the claim of child when she attains majority cannot be prevented but you can contest the same with merits , but legal doors to open to her .
